| 英文描述 | Ibaraki disease is an acute febrile disease of cattle which is present in the Far East and South East Asia. The clinical signs of disease very closely resemble those in Bluetongue but the disease is usually mild, with recovery in 2-3 days. The viral agent also has some similarities to Bluetongue virus. Dx by culture and serology testing for the virus. Secondary pneumonia sometimes occurs. The disease is arthropod-borne; a vaccine is available (Scott). |
